About The Event

Parenting interventions for child conduct problems are among the most established and well-researched treatments in mental health, yet families often have difficulty accessing and attending the services that provide them. While outcomes for children are often best when both mothers and fathers participate, it is relatively rare for fathers to do so. This webinar will present an overview of ParentWorks, an online, father-inclusive parenting intervention that was developed in response to these issues (funded by the Movember Foundation), and explore the broader context of current research and best practice in the treatment of child conduct problems. A focus will be placed on the clinical content of the ParentWorks intervention, and recent evaluation findings (see also: http://www.parentworks.org.au), with a view to offering an additional resource you can take into your practice and share with other colleagues supporting children with conduct problems.
